Chesty Nutty Bang Bang

A long and tiring day has once again drawn to a close. Caught "Chesty Nutty Bang Bang : Hairspray Of The Phoenix" earlier @ the National Library. Thanks to both the little sis and Joakim for the invite and discounted pricing. A pretty friendly cast.. mingling with the audiences after the show.. a whole different feel from the other plays I've ever been to... this.. somehow generates more warmth... no airs at all.

Love theatre productions and parodies and this is the first live parody I've seen... the rest of the parodies being those on youtube (e.g. Weird Al) or those on the big screens. Gotta say that the play was pretty humourous with their witty lyrics and quirky antics. A true blue Singapore production as can be seen with lines peppered with bits of malay, hokkien and mandarin, portraying yet again a diversed and multi-racial society, one that we live in.

I just I might have appeared alittle aloof to the little sister's friends... its been a long day.. my apologies.. energy drainage.. drains the fun side of a person. Anyway with that being said... the show is highly recommended... a couple more slots before the end on the 3rd Feb.. if possible please give it a go guaranteed to leave you wanting more. :)

The course in theatre arts seems pretty appealing... should I have opted for that instead of Mass comms............................ regrets regrets and more regrets..?

On a different note...I FINALLY got to meet Judee after eons... its been a whole year since I last saw her and that was when I sent both her and Vonn off at the airport... the same ol' Judee who till now maintains that she bearly heard a single word of mandarin coming outta my mouth ever since day one haha. Was fun hanging out with the 3 lovely EX-Singtel babes in sunny Malaysia... and can I just add that the movie pricings there are hard to ignore? (at RM6 per show... who can resist?)

Anyway... its off to snooze land for me :)
