Taiwanese "celebrities" critizing our english???

I agree on being a tad late on hearing of this.

Taiwanese so called celebrities commenting on our standard of the english language. Simply preposterous.... irked the hell outta me when I saw the report on the papers.. watch this vid and you'll get what I mean.

The nerve.. not thinking through before shooting their mouths off.. oh wait.. is that tiny speck I spot.... a brain? I agree to a certain extend that not the entire population is able to speak in proper sentences perhaps the older generation but at least they are able to grasp the language and trying to comprehend it in some way or another to communicate with the kids and grandkids and so on. I'm in "awe" of their PERFECT articulation of the english language... NOT. So a couple of them are able to speak decently whats a handful compared to the entire nation? Try grabbing a couple of them on the streets... english? I wonder. My guess is that we would have a tremendously hard time comprehending them instead. I can as a matter of fact, easily gather people on the streets of our tiny island and have a majority being able to speak perfect english with good if not perfect articulation. These "celebs" which I do not even know off should stop being delusional and start gather their facts and not grade Singaporeans because a minority. In fact.. the pronounciation on their programme itself is overrated and simply unheard of. Not forgetting the "pregnant" lady in black who is as she declares an english teacher.. well I welcome her with open arms to our humble little isle to teach our pupils our MAIN language, well she IS capable isn't she?

Please stop further embarrassing yourselves on national tv.. have never taken a liking to such taiwanese progs and never would.. even more now. Thank goodness for the ever so comical if not entertaining talk show hosts Ellen Degeneres, Oprah and Tyra Banks.. three of which are rated tops on my list... at least there's no senseless poking fun at.

My abhorrence against them Taiwanese celebs some if not all will lead to major boycotting of their stupid senseless little shows..
