Happy lil' thoughts...

Sorry for the lack of updates... being mugging these couple of days.. ok lemme rephrase that "mugging". LOL.

2 papers down 1 to go and did I mention getting debarred from my 'Journalism' paper? Didn't meet the 95% criteria I was told... will just have to appeal for the sub paper.. *prays* the others.. lets just say they were pretty okay.. alls thats left now is 'Advertising'. Can't say much.. my feelings toward the institution.. lets just put it as being neutral.

Anyhoos

Been spending lotsa time with the sisters and lovely cousins.. just like old times, just like when we were young. I guess the growing up process does pull you away from stuff... friends... family.. sad knowing how our lives revolves around work, studies and yet again work... even that tiny bit of time spent with the family brings a big smile to my face.. mum's extremely cranky though.. over what I shall not bother elaborating on.. will just ignore her nonsense and let her be.

On a different note....

Singaporeans (most) are the most selfish people ever... prove me wrong in anyway. I know I wouldn't see this happening in another country. A person faints in front of you.... do you

(A) Be oblivious to it
(B) Stare
(C) Offer help

in this case most were simply (A)'s and (B)'s.. simply staring at her slumped on the ground and minding their own business.. I mean how selfish can you get? To help takes just a minute. A typical behaviour as once again displayed by our little garden city. Tapped her arm.. thank goodness she woke up.. I guess the little bit of sugar did the trick.. well at least she was able to stand and get a sit before hailing a cab. Can't everyone just offer a little kindness every now and then... wouldn't really hurt would it?

Uncouth imbecilies

Uncouth behaviors, bad service attitudes, unkempt hair, untidy uniforms... major turnoff.. especially when it comes to dining. Had a sudden craving for teppanyaki earlier thanks to mom's obsession to Jap and Korean shows (I hate 'em).. and dragged her along for lunch, nearest being the one at Northpoint.. (I do the dragging and mom does the footing of bill geddit? haha) food wasn't all that great.. paying $15 per person for burnt beansprouts, tasteless and not to mention bearly cooked greens, blant cabbage soup... ok the tiny bit of sirloin steak was OK a mediocre ok at that. Bad food wasn't all that.. service.. horrendous... I'm supposing the only reason for their survival is the novelty thingy.. doubt anyone actually goes back for seconds though. Like bad food isn't enough.. the very least they could have done was to provide better service. Ex prision inmates they were I heard from a source.. not that I have anything against ex-inmates (yellow ribbon proj rem people) but like buck the bloody hell up already before your business goes bust and leave you crying all the way home. They should learn to take a lesson or two from Pepper Lunch.. their service is way better, oh and yeah the food too. Its a lesson learnt NEVER again will I step foot there.

What can I say....? The service attitude as portrayed by most Singaporeans ain't that picture perfect afterall... though there are the fantastic minority who go all out... can't blame most for wanting to emigrate now can we?

Ever came across a situation whereby another party, one in which you barely know comes by your desk while you're away for a bit getting something, picks your stuff up and starts using it without the decency of even asking?

Came across one such person today.. a classmate of mine actually.. one whom I didn't even know existed till about a week back. Came straight to my lappy, plonked his ass down on one of the seats and shamelessly used it without the slightest hint of embarrassment.. and did I mention him asking me for my password? That's the least he could have done.. you'd have thought that most would have had a better upbringing.. what in the world did his parents even teach him if even this wasn't screwed into him.. if that wasn't enough, he graciously told a couple of girls that they could borrow the lappy once he was "done" with it.. like man.... wtf... so suddenly it becomes part of his possession? Lemme just digress haha.. when told the lappy was mine by another classmate of mine the highly superficial "plastics" became all warm and extremely friendly, one reason, to borrow the lappy... people just never cease to amuse me.. I know I've had my share of superficials.. so much as to.. I really don't give a damn.. like me, love me or detest me.. its your choice.. and its mine to ignore. Call me an obstinate creature but I'm way pass that stage.. one whereby I would hate to be ignored.. maturity? Ah! Probably so.

Okay back to the shameless little man.. he actually had the cheek to gimme a pissed look when I told him that I had to use MY lappy so now I gotta get permission to tough my stuff... and yeah instead he took my mobile and started browsing and poking his nose into my stuff... sorry huns.. be glad I'm tolerating.. just don't test my limits.. I just don't want things to get ugly given my horrid temper.. quiet and demure I may appear.. you really don't wanna see the other side.. the ugly rear.. my ugly rear.

I can't imagine how such people can even exist.. do they not understand basic coutersy?

Rude cabby

Just got off the bloody cab...stupid driver...rude in facT..I didnt have any cash on me so obviously I had to pay using my visa..duH! I even asked him before I boarded the cab and he was like..pissed =.= It wasnt as if I sad "Uncle I have no money can I hitch a free ride?" right? He answered me in a really rude way.."Visa? Go where? Must pay extra 10% you know" I told him well ya okay but it isnt far wouldnt cost more than $10 and he went "Aiya up to you la" WELL DUH!!!!! Its MY money what! When I was about to reach my destination I actually told him to go all the way left..and I even added a "PLEASE" despite being pissed with his fucked up attitude..and guess what? That idiot either drove to the right on purpose or he didnt fucking understand english..SIMPLE ENGLISH! How the hell did he even get his licence? *Ponders* They should revoke his bloody cabby licence as well...rude and inconsiderate driver..what is the world coming to...

BEP & the freakazoids of Yishun

OmG omG!!! Deary has tix to the Black Eyed Peas concert!!!!! haha!! I'll be able to go after all hehz...it was actually a pressie for him from his sisters but I get to share his pressie too :D Sometimes his bday is also mine haah cuz the pressies are also for me poor him eh? Lucky me though *winkz*

Anyway he wanted to have fried oysters so we went to the coffee shop..but there to spoil my mood was the stupid stall owner! Firstly she has this stupid grouchy look on her face I mean I'm the customer you know -.- Sheesh! Later on she came over with the plate of food and kinda slammed the plate down ( yea yea I know I exerating) bad attitude....HORRIBLE in fact (*note: the stall is at Chong Pang Market Blk 107...DON'T PATRONIZE THE STALL..DON'T EVER!!!!) Even as we gave her the money she was staring like as if we were the ones who offended heR..oh man..stupid bitch....and here the government is going on and on about courtersy and all and the little people like her are ruining the government's efforts. People like her should be wiped off the face of the earth...I also heard from deary that her husband actually got into a fight with some customers about a year back and the customer was swinging a beer bottle at him...see...I guess they really are problematic people I'm not the only one who can't stand that freak x_x

The UGLYs (p2) The minahs vs the normies

Haven't been updating my bloggie these few days..kinda lazy and also swarmed with projects at the moment..anyway I went for the Anna Sui make-over thingy last saturday..the make-up artist, the make-up artist Bobby was nice and explained the proper techniques of applying the eye shadow esp my fave color BLACK!!! Hehe~ They also proceeded to curling my hair..forgot the hairstylist name though anyway i took this picture later in the night with my web cam (looks kinda creepy though...now i know why ppl say that my eyes are too big -.-)

Anyway I went to school today was LATE AGAIN -.- Saw these 3 "minahs" in the train at Clementi and they kept staring at me sheesh! Firstly they had such THICK makeup, lotsa eyeliner and well basically the full works la...I have nothing against makeup I use it too but get reaL do u even need to apply on makeup when you're studying in my school? (its clementi ite btw..stupid school) and there they are staring at me I mean...WHAT IS UR F*CKING PROBLEM?! Their bags are like so freaking small and I actually wonder why they even bother coming to school when the only things that are able to fit in the fake gucci's are their stupid hps! And get this straight, I'm NOT a malay I'm just a chidian whom many may mistaken to be a malay that's prob they reason why they stare at least I know I don't buy fake goods not that I'm looking down on anyone but if you cant afford it why cant you just get some other brands like espirit, elle, or whatever instead of Burrbery, LV, Gucci etc. Unlike Azera she's a malay too but she is soooooooo different not like the other clonies we see around they are more like monkey see monkey do lolz! No fashion sense..just more of copying each other thats how i came up with the term "clonies" :D At least both azera and noreen support my opinion of those freaking minahs I guess their only purpose in enrolling in the school was to attract guys and get pregnant and become..housewifes? Wow nice ambitions!!! I wouldnt be in this school if I didnt flunk mathes..its kinda demoralising seeing this kinda ppl in the school het what I mean? My lecturers are really nice but there are still a few weird ones around (thankfully they don't teach me) esp this Dorothy person she goes around catching girls with short skirts when hers in fact, is shorter and note that she isn't slim either I guess she doesnt know the meaning of contridiction..I guess I kinda bitching around a tad too much for now...till then....toodlez

The UGLYs :D

Had my OA CA as well as my EM presentation today was rushing through the project yesterday NIGHT and...arrived 10mins late for my test today.. reason being...i overslepT! LoL! I slept at 4am yesterday you know so....it ain't really my fault (as if) ^.^ We had our presentation today after our CA...I'm pretty proud of it as the ppt slides and report turned out pretty neat for a last minute joB *grins* Anyway during our presentation there were a few tiny flaws..mainly cuz..we didn't prepare (lesson learnT..I hoPe)but we mangaed to pull it off well..but those malay girLz (Lynna, Aisha & Fad) AND Lina's bf Shariff were pretty annoying..sore losers..just can't stand them -.- Just because their presentation didn't go that well and my group kinda bombarded them with questions (well it was a Q&A session anyway!!) and they COULDN'T answer it they were pissed with us I mean what the hell??!! Its THEIR project they were supposed to be able to answer the questions righT? Sheesh..back to my story hehz..they wanted to try the same to us by trying to bombard us with questions as well haha i bet they were cracking their little brains to come up with questions oh well i thought that they were going to and i was all ready to fire my answers back at them..instead..their questions were...LAME really stupid questions in which they though would have left us stumped bwahaha!! Naive little people..! They must have really racked their tiny little heads to come up with that..our project was to organize an orientation for the "new intake" for the school but like DUH! obviously its a fake right kinda like a role play and they had the nerve to ask why we were using the current students of this sch as the "new pupils" what were they expecting? To get REAL new students? Gimme a break -.-" I love answering dumb questions from ppl who think that they are really smart haha its really rewarding to see their dejected pathatic faces when they get your answer



Anyway not to let that dampen my mood...i actually got paid double for the flyer distribution job muahaha~~ Cuz Watsons kinda breeched the contract twice so..well i'm not complaining..it benefited me anyway :) Hmz..looking forward to Wednesday..cuzzzzz i'm going to Escape with Azera ahahaZz! WeEeEe~
