2am Dessertbar

Was offered a position in Sitel Singapore.. 2nd interview's today supposedly.. but.. I guess I'm just not too ready to join the workforce yet well maybe just a temp position but a year's contract... nope not at the moment :)

Anyway. Stardust was surprisingly a pretty good show. Wouldn't say that its particularly my kinda genre of film but glad I gave it a chance almost a 10/10 if you ask me.

And for those looking for a nice place to chill with dessert and wine.. you would want to consider the 2am Dessertbar @ Holland V... lovely place with a nice and relaxing ambience.

Happy lil' thoughts...

Sorry for the lack of updates... being mugging these couple of days.. ok lemme rephrase that "mugging". LOL.

2 papers down 1 to go and did I mention getting debarred from my 'Journalism' paper? Didn't meet the 95% criteria I was told... will just have to appeal for the sub paper.. *prays* the others.. lets just say they were pretty okay.. alls thats left now is 'Advertising'. Can't say much.. my feelings toward the institution.. lets just put it as being neutral.

Anyhoos

Been spending lotsa time with the sisters and lovely cousins.. just like old times, just like when we were young. I guess the growing up process does pull you away from stuff... friends... family.. sad knowing how our lives revolves around work, studies and yet again work... even that tiny bit of time spent with the family brings a big smile to my face.. mum's extremely cranky though.. over what I shall not bother elaborating on.. will just ignore her nonsense and let her be.

On a different note....

Singaporeans (most) are the most selfish people ever... prove me wrong in anyway. I know I wouldn't see this happening in another country. A person faints in front of you.... do you

(A) Be oblivious to it
(B) Stare
(C) Offer help

in this case most were simply (A)'s and (B)'s.. simply staring at her slumped on the ground and minding their own business.. I mean how selfish can you get? To help takes just a minute. A typical behaviour as once again displayed by our little garden city. Tapped her arm.. thank goodness she woke up.. I guess the little bit of sugar did the trick.. well at least she was able to stand and get a sit before hailing a cab. Can't everyone just offer a little kindness every now and then... wouldn't really hurt would it?
