Enchanted

Enchanted, yet another story whereby the real world and the animate world collide. The other I remember being Roger Rabbit but of course that was eons ago. One can't possibly hate such films.

Plot outline :

"A classic Disney fairytale collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess from the past who is thrust into present-day by an evil queen. Soon after her arrival, Princess Giselle begins to change her views on life and love after meeting a handsome lawyer. Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?"

Synopsis :

"Giselle lives in a forest dreaming of her one true love. Prince Edward hears her singing and they fall in love and plan to wed the following morning. His step-mother the queen wants the threat to her crown removed so pushes Giselle down a well where she enters the 'real' world of New York. Here she meets a divorce attorney (Robert) who is about to become engaged and his 6 year old daughter. They fall in love while Giselle waits for Edward to rescue her. After an incident with a poisoned apple and being saved by true love's kiss, Giselle kills the queen who has turned into a dragon in order to save Robert from certain doom. Edward returns to the animated world with Nancy (Robert's girlfriend) and Giselle stays in New York with Robert and they all live happily ever after. "

A fairy tale with a queer yet sweet magical twist to it. Caught the movie with him.. unexpected actually... can't say he's much of a fan of the.... "fairytale genre".

Caught the movie yet again yesterday with the little sis and cuzzies and yet again I was surprised that Dan and Mon wanted to watch it... haha can't say I see them as fairytale viewers either... and well since everyone wanted to catch it.. thought I'd just go along.. why spoil the fun? Afterall... I do have this tendency to re-watch films and I do love musicals... and disney... excuses.. yes I know.

Up next.. movie with Liming.. yes this darling wanted to watch Enchanted too... sadly we changed the film.. can't be watching the same movie 3 times in a row now can I? And thanks for accomodating me and changing "HEROS" to "Fred Claus" heh.. I owe you one :P

Anyway, a clip of the song "Ever Ever After" by Carrie Underwood from the soundtrack of Enchanted.
