Hitting the roads

Back on the roads again..

After the LONG break taken I decided to get my ass back to driving.. the motivation's back again.. thankfully and of course a major contributing factor being mum and dad sponsoring the fees and the second being Liming, my latest driving companion (at least I ain't gotta drag my ass to and fro alone). Though I did mention wanting to be 'independent' and not relying on anyone for it.. uh.. no job = no cash right..? But I DID fork out a thousand outta my own pocket for the previous lessons so that makes me.... 'half-dependent'?

Was both nerve wrecking yet fun being behind the wheel again although I got cramps in my legs..the usual after every lesson.. the engine stalled twice but hey I was warming up so I gotta be excused. Warmup rounds and it was out on the big roads again... man do I miss driving on the roads though I do feel awfully bad for 'putting the instructor's life at risk' imagine your life being in the hands of a mere rookie.. a student driver... scccaareeeeeey.
Can't recall the instructor's name... a very jolly and easy going guy.. one would definately feel at ease having him as a coach.. no stress, no weird or angry glares no naggings and whatnots. Just friendly advice and convos.. so unlike my past two instructors.. stern, snotty old men who can't even seem to..maybe 'conjure up' a smile for the student's benefit..

No intention to stereotype.. but... yet another classic Singaporean behaviour as displayed by yet another service provider in this quaint little city.
