Singapore Zoological Gardens

A wave of nostalgia just swept past me as I once again stepped foot into the zoo... its been over a decade since I last saw the place.. used to frequent the place back when I was still a tiny tod.. those were the times.. times in which daddy dearest would bring me along to work and leave me to play with the little ponies, rabbits, chicks and whatnots and not forgetting the cuddly little tiger cubs but of cause under his watchful eyes. The huge yet seemingly adorable and huggable polar bears during feeding time, the playful orang utans and chimps and not forgetting my curiousity revolving around the ever so cold blooded pythons.. I did have this weird obsession with them as a kid.... I do wonder why.

Managed to drag hubs along.. guys.. somehow I don't think they're that keen on visiting the zoo.. bad childhood memories perhaps? Or is it just plain boredom due to the countless visits we had during our primary school years? Anna darling's having the same problem trying to drag her guy to the zoo as well... oh well... GUYS..

Lotsa changes within the place itself though there were the usual familiar faces I grew accustomed to looking at especially during Christmas during my younger days when dad would invite his then colleagues for Christmas lunch or dinner. And did I mention free entry? LOL. All thanks to dad's connections.. as he's working as a consultant there at the moment... well.. I managed to get in FOC all thanks to one of the manager's there *grins* Thanks a bunch! This time I brought the camera along, got the batt charged and all but... forgot to slot it in before I left.. so all I had was pretty much 'an empty shell' sitting and looking oh so pretty in my bag......... when oh when will I learn.... geez hopefully everything's loaded tmr for Eric's chalet.. wouldn't want to be using the pathetic 2 m.p hp camera with horrible resolution now would we? Unless of cuz Miss cammy whore Azera brings hers along.


That aside............

Liming is coming close towards the end of her treatments. Hang in there babe, you did great! It'll all be gone soon though easier said than done... will a big fat wet kiss on the cheek do? I can however compromise and give you one on the lips..in discreet of cuz or dear ol' Anna would be fuming wouldn't you?

Also... a brand new samsung lcd tv courtesy of dad.... watching cartoons have never been more pleasurable... so... any kind willing to splonk on a PS3 for me? The oddest thing I've heard though.. is mum volunteering to buy one... for her leisure activities... what is the world coming to?
