Perth~!!!!

I'm BACK!!!! LOL! Ok was back a week ago..just too lazy to blog..oh I love SIA! LOL! My own little TV screen with most of the latest movies.. =D

Perth was COOL! And I mean literally..as in the weather..oh damn I miss the weather *bOohOo* 16 degrees during the afternoons and all the way down to 11 degrees during the nights.

I wasn't allowed to take piccies before I was out of the customs area though..the fine was a hefty Aus$1000..the airport was..well pretty small though..not really what I would have expected maybe 1/5 of Singapore's airport? Anyway a picture speaks a thousand words don't it? Hehz..this entry will be made up of..80% pictures 20% words? :P

Two things that I'd really love to comment about Aussie are the people and their service..WAY better than Singapore..that I have to admit..the people there are nice and polite..and mind you its not only to tourists if that's what you're thinking. For starters, the first to leave a good impression on me were the bus drivers, why you ask? Well, you can ask the driver the fare, how to get to a certain destination, which bus to take or where to alight at and he'll attend to your queries with a smile..they would only start driving off when everyone has settled down..and its not once or twice that I saw this but throughout my 2 week stay there..seriously compare that to Sg's BUS service for example..just a couple of days after I returned, I was on this bus 851 and there was a young boy..probably a preteen..all he did was to ask the driver if the bus would take him to a certain destination but instead of a helpful reply, he glared at the boy and told him in an angry tone that he was on the wrong bus..somehow implying that the boy was wasting his "PRECIOUS" time! And to think the kid even thanked the driver when he alighted SHEESH! Well ok to be fair..not all but rather the handful that tarnish the reputation of all the others.

The next part..hmm well..the shopping centres..! The staff are pretty helpful and they'll greet you with a smile and its not just those shopping centres in the city but those in the suburbs as well. Okay let's compare that to Sg shall we? There are some malls with nice and friendly staff however there are also LOTS with seriously horrid staff..examples? Here's a couple..one of 'em is..well have you ever walked into a shop and the staff refused to serve you either - 1. You're an asian and there's a caucasian there and he/she attends to that person instead? 2. You're dressed in a tee and berms and the staff refuses to serve you? A likely yes eh? Another thing is that when they tail you and continously stare like as if you were intending to steal or when you shop in your school uniform..happens to many..happened to me today as well all I wanted to get was a nail file and I AM the customer and the one making the purchase so don't I have the rights to choose which nail file I wanted? This bloody BITCH was just standing right behind me and staring even following me to the cashier like GET A LIFE U STUPID FREAK who in the world would even be interested to steal..say..a nail file that costs a measly $1.50?????!!!!!! ArrGh! Down to my last point now..the people..residents in general. Most of those I've met..as in walked past and all..they are really nice and friendly and greet you with a "hi" and all..and not shun you when you smile at them maybe thinking that you're well weird? Again..not all but some..sigh..Sg is one of the nicest places..with horrible sales service..then again.. *LOUD SIGH*
