Society
Cruel society? Maybe.. maybe not.. pretty much depends.. sterotyping doesn't help much either. There are both the good and the bad side to everything though its generally the bad that one gets.. maybe cuz the brains work in a way that allows one to remember the bad and forget the good? Steph's aunt brought us for dinner last week as she received a voucher and the waitress treated us like peasants of somesort.. wake up lady, look up the dictionary, read and realise the meaning of a voucher, why would it even be issued if it wasn't meant to be used? I'm wondering if they even had a dress code as she was in a cheap china like mini skirt and some long sleeved button top with buttons close to bursting at her tummy.. call the fashion police.. someone.. anyone. Treated the 'angmoh' patrons way differently from us.. probably trying to hook some rich 'angmoh' hoping he'd save her from poverty, living the life of a waitress..
Anyway, was in Jb with mum and she was pretty much shopping for chinese new year goodies and such.. pricing-wise, as I've mentioned.. very reasonable, in fact so reasonable that most Singaporeans go "cheap, cheap, cheap" which most probably gets Malaysians disliking us for some reason or another, but seriously people, the cost of living in Sg is much higher, can't blame us for being amazed at the pricings offered there and we DO boost the economy over at your end don't we? Bringing you a daily income of RM 5m a day. Benefits both sides.. a 'win-win' situation I'd say.. though the staff there are pretty customer orientated, at least more customer orientated then those in Sg.. or is it just at that particular mall? The customs though, is a whole different story.. their service.. seriously sucks, buck up already people. Was actually on the way back and was at the customs, firstly the arsehole took his own sweet time to do the stamping and so I waited, was playing or rather tapping my nails on the counter when he questioned me in malay.. "So do you play the drums or piano?" Looked at him and told him neither and the twerp had the cheek to tell me to stop 'playing with my nails' in a rude manner.. WTF?! Stumped I most definately was. Does it pose a major problem of somesort for you? With brains the size of a pea, leaving no space for customer service, intellect, basic english and whatnots, I don't see how it could have affected you in anyway.. irked I was but maybe I will find space in this 'big' heart of mine to forgive you.. your mediocre pay and non-existant brains are probably punishments on their own.. but.. sigh.. correct that fucked up attitude of yours before your job goes *spoof* and the cheque becomes yet another illussion and you decide that begging would be your latest career. Would you rather correct your temper and retain your job or..be yet another useless begger with hands and feet begging on the streets?
Which brings me to another point, physically fit men around the age of 30 - 45, sitting on the stairs of the underpass in Jb begging for money.. Sorry to say this, but I don't think you deserve even a single cent, why should my money go to you when you're capable of finding a job to support yourself? Don't you have hands and feet? Aren't you alive and kicking? Fucking useless creatures I call 'em.. one that do not even deserve to be given the term homosapiens..parasite would be a more suitable term.. even this elderly couple who where at least 80, try to earn a living by selling tissues at Yishun underpass.. that I would never put down.. in fact I'd be more then willing to make a purchase from.
